[Video] What will change in 6th grade enrollment at high-quality schools in Hanoi in 2025?

NDO - In the 2025-2026 school year, high-quality secondary schools in Hanoi will enroll 6th graders without following the school's enrollment route. Due to the large number of students registering each year and exceeding the quota, the schools will conduct admission based on the criteria of reviewing academic records, assessing capacity in the form of questions and answers, writing, presentations, etc.

Báo Nhân dânBáo Nhân dân27/03/2025

Schools shall report to the Department of Education and Training on their enrollment plans based on practical conditions and submit them to the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities for approval. Districts, towns and cities shall prescribe the forms of student capacity assessment, ensuring that enrollment is carried out fairly, objectively, transparently and in accordance with practical conditions.

This year, tuition fees at high-quality schools may increase according to a roadmap. The increase will not exceed 10% compared to last year. This adjustment is to meet the need for investment in improving facilities and enhancing the quality of education.

Hanoi currently has five high-quality public secondary schools, including:

Nam Tu Liem Secondary School, Thanh Xuan Secondary School, Cau Giay Secondary School, Le Loi Secondary School (Ha Dong district), Chu Van An Secondary School (Long Bien).
