On March 31, the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Executive Committee held an expanded conference to implement the Politburo's Decision on personnel work.
Comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Permanent member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission attended and directed the conference.
Also attending the conference were members of the Party Central Committee: Nguyen Quang Duong, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, former Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee; Doan Minh Huan, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine.
At the Conference, the representative of the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's Decision on personnel work. Accordingly, in Decision No. 816-QDNS/TW dated March 30, 2023, the Politburo decided that comrade Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, ceased to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine, was transferred to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and held the position of Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On behalf of the Politburo, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai presented the decision, presented flowers and congratulated comrade Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, new Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Truong Thi Mai highly appreciated Ninh Binh province for its determination, efforts and achievements in socio-economic development, national defense, security, foreign affairs, Party building and political system. The Standing Committee of the Secretariat congratulated Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, former Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, who was recently assigned a new task by the Politburo. On March 15, 2023, she was elected to join the Committee, the Presidium and hold the position of Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term IX, 2010 - 2024.
On behalf of the Politburo, comrade Truong Thi Mai congratulated comrade Doan Minh Huan on his new responsibility, believing that he will promote his capacity and experience, quickly approach the situation, be exemplary, be the nucleus of solidarity, together with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to continue to lead, direct, and effectively organize the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; Resolution 30-NQ/TW of the Politburo on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Red River Delta region until 2030, with a vision to 2045; Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress, with the direction and goal of building Ninh Binh into a tourist center of the whole country; striving to become a province with average development by 2025, and a fairly developed province in the Red River Delta region by 2030.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Doan Minh Huan, the new Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, respectfully thanked the Politburo, the Secretariat, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and the Central Party Committees for entrusting him with the new responsibility. Comrade Doan Minh Huan expressed that the new position is both an honor and a great responsibility before the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Party Committee, the government and the people of Ninh Binh province, so he will actively practice, learn, and make every effort to fulfill the assigned tasks.
In order to inherit and promote the glorious traditions and important achievements built up through many generations of leaders, in his new position, comrade Doan Minh Huan said that he will make every effort, uphold the pioneering and exemplary spirit, together with the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee and the entire political system of Ninh Binh province, promote the tradition of solidarity, practice democracy, actively seize opportunities and chances, strive to overcome difficulties and challenges, organize the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress, contributing with the whole country to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
He hopes to continue to receive the attention, leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, directly from the General Secretary, the Standing Member of the Secretariat and other Party and State leaders; the assistance and experience sharing of previous leaders, the close coordination of central departments, ministries, branches, local Party committees and authorities nationwide, and the joint efforts and unanimity of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, agencies and units in the political system, and all cadres, party members and people in the province so that he can fulfill his assigned tasks.
Comrade Doan Minh Huan, born in 1971, hometown Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province; PhD, Associate Professor; Senior in political theory. He received basic training, worked in many positions, worked as a lecturer for 10 years, then held the positions of Deputy Head of Department, Head of Department, Deputy Director, Director of the Academy of Politics, Region I; Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine; Member of the Central Theoretical Council. He was elected as an alternate member of the 12th Party Central Committee, member of the 13th Party Central Committee.
