General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed that the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries attach importance to and give top priority to developing the Vietnam-China relationship.
On the afternoon of August 28, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary and President To Lam received Mr. Liu Ning, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) during his visit and work in Vietnam.
Welcoming Mr. Liu Ning and the Guangxi delegation to visit Vietnam, General Secretary and President To Lam highly appreciated the significance of the visit, promoting the leading role in the border localities of the two countries to concretize the latest common perception between the senior leaders of the two Parties and two countries on further strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, promoting the building of the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future.
General Secretary and President To Lam congratulated China on the great achievements it has made under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping as the core, including the important contributions of border localities such as Guangxi; highly appreciated the increasingly important role of Guangxi in connecting China with ASEAN, including Vietnam.
Expressing his appreciation for the long-standing tradition of friendship between the two Parties and countries, the General Secretary and President emphasized that Guangxi is a place that has witnessed many cooperative activities of the two countries' revolutions; thanked and appreciated the Party Committee, government and people of Guangxi for many years always paying attention to preserving and conserving relic sites related to President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnamese revolution.
General Secretary and President To Lam discussed the great success of his recent State visit to China, along with important common perceptions reached with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping and key leaders of China; affirmed that the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries attach importance to and give top priority to developing Vietnam-China relations, always paying high attention to developing friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries' border localities, including the relationship between Guangxi and the northeastern border localities of Vietnam.
Acknowledging and appreciating that Guangxi has been a leading locality in economic and trade cooperation with Vietnam for many years, General Secretary and President To Lam suggested that Guangxi and Vietnamese border localities continue to maintain and promote more effectively the mechanisms of exchange and communication, enhance substantive cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, and digital transformation; jointly manage well, build a peaceful, stable, friendly, cooperative and developing Vietnam-China border, contributing to further deepening the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries.
Secretary of the Guangxi Regional Party Committee Liu Ning expressed his joy at visiting Vietnam right after the successful State visit to China by General Secretary and President To Lam; and congratulated Mr. To Lam on being elected to the position of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Mr. Luu Ninh expressed his joy at the important achievements that Vietnam has made in recent times; he believes that Vietnam will continue to develop even more strongly in the coming time.
Mr. Liu Ning emphasized the special significance of the common perceptions between the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries as an important premise to promote the development of Vietnam-China relations to new heights, including the friendly cooperation between Guangxi and all levels, sectors and localities of Vietnam.
Mr. Liu Ning affirmed to accept the important guiding opinions of General Secretary and President To Lam; emphasized that Guangxi will actively implement the common perception between the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries, the Vietnam-China Joint Statement and 14 cooperation documents signed during the recent visit to China by General Secretary and President To Lam, further strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, and building a Community of Shared Future between the two countries.
Guangxi is willing to continue to closely coordinate with Vietnam's border localities, enhance friendly exchanges, promote substantive and mutually beneficial cooperation, especially in the fields of economy-trade, investment, tourism, education and training, and people-to-people exchange; jointly manage the border between the two countries, well implement the three legal documents on Vietnam-China land border management, maintain a peaceful, stable, friendly, cooperative and developing border./.
