(QBĐT) - Holding in my hand a beautiful poetry publication like a New Year greeting card, I could not help but exclaim: "So cute!". Flipping through each beautiful page of the book, reading each beautiful verse, I silently thought about the good things that spring has brought to all of us, especially the artists in my homeland, Le.
That is the collection of poems by Le Thuy celebrating the Party - celebrating the spring of At Ty by the Le Thuy Literature and Arts Association. The book was published by Thuan Hoa Publishing House in October 2024. The collection of poems is the passionate, passionate voice of the poets' souls towards the Party and spring. In other words, the Party and spring are the endless source of inspiration for the ceaseless creativity of the artists in the General's homeland.

The poetry collection is a gathering place of 45 authors from the Le Thuy Literature and Arts Association and several other localities in Quang Binh province. With 79 "offering poems" that fully encapsulate the sentiments; thoughts, emotions, nostalgia; pride, gratitude for the glorious Party, with endless spring love. It can be said that the poetry collection is a priceless gift introduced to readers near and far on the occasion of Tet and spring.
When mentioning spring, the heart of every Vietnamese person burns with pride in the glorious Party, in the beloved Uncle Ho! Because "Our Party is the savior/The Party brings the light of faith to life" ( Our Party - Nhat Nam). In the darkness of prison and exile, the Party has shown the way, outlined the revolutionary path, illuminating the path for the entire nation:
"The Party is the light of the sun
Dispel the darkness, open the way
fight
Through hundreds of waterfalls and rapids
The Party returns to bring spring
for life"

The more proud we are of the Party, the more grateful we are to the one who founded and trained our Party. Many poems in the collection express our sacred and profound feelings for Uncle Ho: “The spring of the country has come/My heart is filled with excitement, Uncle!/I miss your bright eyes and smile/Immense forehead, elegant figure” ( Remembering Uncle - Nhat Nam). How sacred, touching and proud it is to hear Uncle Ho’s poems on New Year’s Eve! Poet Hoang Dai Huu had to exclaim in extreme joy:
"It seems like the words of the mountains and rivers
Simple loving voice
Listen to every line
Uncle Ho's words - the words of the country"

Come to Le Thuy to visit the house of General Vo Nguyen Giap. Come to Le Thuy to listen to the folk song. Come to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the traditional swimming festival, come to immerse yourself in the clear blue water of the lyrical Kien River: "More than a folk song/The folk song is the soul of my homeland/Since the cradle, generations have passed/The essence of Le Thuy people has permeated the sacred melody" ( Le Thuy folk song - Thai Sac).
Proud of the land of talented people, many poets have expressed their gratitude and respect for the life and career of General Vo Nguyen Giap: "The General grew up with the sound of folk songs/White rice, clear water, Le fields/Stories told by his mother every night/Patriotism, the tradition of his ancestors" ( General of the People's Heart - Hoang Minh Duc).
The homeland of Quang Binh embraces the General, so that every morning and evening the Lullaby from Vung Chua hums: "Now that the Saint has gone far away/Still carries the deep affection of the homeland/The sea of the homeland gently caresses/The sweet lullaby is peaceful all around" (Kim Cuong). Returning to Le Thuy, visiting the General's memorial house, Le Ba Chuong could not hide his emotion and pride in his reputation and illustrious career: " The homeland nurtured a talented general/With both literature and martial arts, few can compare/His name shines with glory/His national history is glorious in five continents" ( Visiting the General's house - Le Ba Chuong).
Traditional boat racing on Kien Giang River has become a national intangible heritage, so that every autumn, Le Thuy children and tourists from all over the world eagerly come here to enjoy the festival season: "Will you come back for this festival?!/The Kien Giang River has begun to stir/The village boys' voices "shout" in harmony with the drums/The flags fly, the love of the General is in harmony" ( Will you come back for this festival?! - Do Duc Thuan).
Come to Le Thuy to feel all the affection of the land of simple and loyal people. Come to entrust your dreams and far-reaching dreams… These are the surging emotions that readers can easily encounter in each sparkling and shining verse:
"Please come back to my hometown Le Thuy
The clear Kien Giang River
blue water
Echoing the rhythm of the folk song
down to Mui Viet
Both literary and martial arts -

Le Thuy is the homeland of flower seasons. Every spring, the banks of Kien Giang are heavy with alluvium, clusters of vermicelli flowers, gieng well flowers, mustard flowers... blooming yellow in nostalgia and infatuation: "Meeting red cotton flowers in March on the roadside/Suddenly remembering this season, yellow vermicelli flowers also bloom/My hometown Kien Giang has one side silted up and the other eroded/The green river has carried the color of flowers for generations" ( Flowers of Vermicelli Kien Giang - Dang Hieu Dan). For many people, gieng well flowers have become a beautiful memory, a place to preserve unforgettable memories of innocent, naive first love: "The mustard flowers by the river are absent-minded, white butterflies/The yellow gieng well flowers are so dear... my dear!" ( The season of gieng wells by the river - Dang Hieu Dan).
After many ups and downs, after stumbles, bitterness or sweetness of happiness, setting foot on the homeland of Le, each of us will feel the strange peace, clarity and purity!

And, the publication of Le Thuy Poetry celebrating the Party and the At Ty Spring deserves to be the place where the most beautiful, quintessential, poetic and life-like things that the artists of the homeland want to offer are gathered, in place of words of gratitude to the homeland with deep affection. That's right! Nowhere is as deep in affection and beautiful as the old village and garden!
