On the morning of September 20, the Hanoi Tourism and Trade Promotion Center (HPA) held a press conference to provide information about the Hanoi Autumn Festival 2023 and the Hanoi Cuisine Introduction Space.
Speaking at the press conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Anh - Deputy Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Hanoi City said: This is the first time that Hanoi City has organized the Hanoi Autumn Festival 2023 with the theme "Hanoi Autumn - Come to love" with a lot of enthusiasm.

The festival will include spaces such as “Autumn Colors”, “Autumn Flavors”, “Autumn Gifts”, “Garden of Light” arranged and staged into exhibition spaces, booths, and miniature landscapes introducing attractive tourist destinations in Hanoi in the fall such as Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi Old Quarter, One Pillar Pagoda, Me Linh flowers, Duong Lam ancient village. In particular, booths simulating Pho Phai’s house on Le Thach Street, Ta Hien culinary corner, etc.
Com Space - Autumn Flavors tells the story of the formation and development of the com production profession of Hanoi people from raw to modern products, in accordance with national and international standards. Com products are especially delicious with the rich flavor of Hanoi autumn.
The 2023 Hanoi Autumn Festival and Hanoi Cuisine Exhibition Space will be organized with a scale of 150 booths divided into areas according to the design, arranged along Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Le Thach Street and the Octagonal House area. The Festival has the active participation of the People's Committees of 10 districts: Hoan Kiem, Me Linh, Quoc Oai, Ung Hoa, Ba Dinh, Nam Tu Liem, Cau Giay, Dong Anh, Ba Vi, Gia Lam to promote and introduce the potential for tourism development and tourism products, and local heritages.
The festival also has the participation of the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, Hanoi Youth Union, Hanoi Tourism Corporation (Hanoitourist), Associations: Hanoi Craft Village Handicraft Association, Vietnam Culinary Culture Association, Hanoi Tourism Association, Royal Chefs Association... Not only that, the program attracts 14 provinces and cities to participate in introducing local tourism including Phu Tho, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Phu Yen, Dong Nai, An Giang.

Some districts in Hanoi have invested heavily and gradually improved the professionalism of tourism promotion activities, for example, Ung Hoa district: organizing a 3-hour ao dai tailoring experience at the Trach Xa ao dai tailoring heritage space combined with promoting the quintessence of traditional crafts such as Quang Phu Cau incense and Dao Xa folk musical instruments.
Within the framework of the Hanoi Autumn Festival 2023, a number of main activities will take place such as:

- Exhibition of Hanoi Autumn photos at the Art Center 22 Hang Buom and at Ly Thai To flower garden.
- Ao dai show “Wedding Ao dai through time”; Ao dai show of Vietnam Ao dai Club with 11 Ao dai collections of 11 designers, including the record-breaking Ao dai “Time Mark” by designer Hoang Ly with a length of 189m, studded with stones and printed with ancient Vietnamese motifs; Hanhsilk…
- Experience the space of Com Hanoi, the heritage of Trach Xa ao dai sewing profession.
- Hanoi Autumn Carnival is elaborately staged with a scale of 1,500 people from city units, students, City Youth Union, clubs, art troupes, artisans on the morning of October 1, 2023 with 4 parts: Radiant autumn colors - depicting the colors of Hanoi's autumn from businesses to craft villages; Districts - honoring craft villages and tourism businesses of Hanoi City; Street art performances - bringing a dynamic shade of Hanoi City, the highlight of the program is the Thanh Oai district Lion-Unicorn-Dragon team with 30 dragons parading representing 30 districts and counties in Hanoi City; Parade - gongs of ethnic groups - Showing the beauty of ethnic minority communities living in the capital; Next, there is also the painting activity "Hanoi in my eyes" with the participation of 99 young people, street music activities.
One of the highlights of the 2023 Hanoi Autumn Festival and Hanoi Cuisine Exhibition Space is the Hanoi Cuisine Exhibition Space with the theme "Quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine" gathering 51 booths of professional associations, artisans, businesses, famous culinary establishments in Hanoi and the whole country introducing attractive dishes such as beef pho, chicken pho, bun thang, fish cake, lantern green rice cake, Ho Tay snail noodle soup, Phu Thuong sticky rice... The highlight of the pho space is gathering Hanoi's Pho Thin, trade pho, Hanoi chicken pho, pho from some localities such as Nam Dinh pho, Ngo Ha Giang pho, Dak Lak pho...
