State Bank of Region 9 located in Da Nang, 5 provincial directors become deputy directors, leadership reduced by half

The State Bank has assigned Mr. Le Anh Xuan - Deputy Director of the Finance and Accounting Department - to hold the position of Director of the State Bank Region 9. Directors of 5 Central provinces have been appointed to hold the position of Deputy Regional Director.

On March 12, in Da Nang , the State Bank of Vietnam announced its decision and launched the Central Region 9 agency.

Accordingly, Mr. Le Anh Xuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Accounting of the State Bank holds the position of regional director.

Directors of Da Nang, Quang Tri, Hue, Quang Nam , Quang Ngai provinces - Mr. Vo Minh, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dong, Mr. Pham Trong, Mr. Dinh Van Cong and Mr. Pham Ba Nam were transferred and appointed as regional deputy directors.

According to the leader of the State Bank of Vietnam , implementing the direction from the Central Government, within just 3 months the entire system has basically completed the organization and apparatus arrangement, ensuring the correct progress and roadmap.

The State Bank has organized its apparatus in 63 provincial and municipal branches into 15 regional units; ensuring the implementation of state management, payment activities, monetary security, and treasury for the banking system.

Branches in provinces and cities including Da Nang, Quang Tri, Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai are organized into State Bank Region 9, headquartered in Da Nang City.

Total number of civil servants and workers in region 9 before the arrangement was 226 people. After the arrangement, there were 203 people left.

Civil servants holding leadership and management positions were previously arranged to have 63 people, but after the arrangement there were only 29 people left.

The structure of the State Bank of Region 9 after the rearrangement has 5 departments.
