VNG's two main product lines, the Zalopay payment platform and AI Cloud GreenNode, participated in the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation and Startup Week 2024 (WHISE 2024) organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology. 
Specifically, on December 17 and 18, Zalopay introduced convenient digital payment solutions including Zalopay Multi-function QR code, Zalopay Multi-function International QR (for international visitors to Vietnam) and Zalopay Box (audio version of Zalopay Multi-function QR) at the event.
Notably, Zalopay QR Multi-function International is a product of Zalopay in cooperation with UnionPay launched at the end of November, allowing international tourists to use the UnionPay application or more than 15 linked payment applications from 6 countries to pay directly without having to exchange money. Officially entering the market since July 2023, Zalopay QR Multi-function quickly became a popular payment method at businesses nationwide, from large brand chains to small and medium enterprises. After more than 1 year of launching, the total transaction value through this solution has increased 15 times. Meanwhile, GreenNode (VNG's AI Cloud division) participated in sharing and discussing the importance of AI Cloud infrastructure for startups at the workshop "Model of Cooperation Linking the Creative Startup Ecosystem between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces". "AI is predicted to lead the way to the next era of technology, and Vietnam is becoming an ideal destination for global AI companies. In that context, VNG is a pioneer with GreenNode - an AI Cloud platform based on more than 10 years of experience in building large systems for Games, Payment, and Messaging. WHISE 2024 takes place from December 16 to 22, 2024 with more than 15 outstanding activities. The opening event combined with the exhibition attracted the participation of more than 150 booths of innovative products/services and startups. Along with that, many international forums and seminars were held, focusing on prominent topics such as artificial intelligence and applications in public administration, sustainable development, AI technology solutions in the education sector.
