Ho Chi Minh City, December 17, 2024 - After 4 years of development, the "made-in-Vietnam" assistant - Kiki Auto has officially reached the milestone of 1 million installations and uses on cars. Launched in December 2020, Zalo AI's Vietnamese Assistant recorded an average of nearly 1,100 installations and uses per day in 2024, with some times reaching up to 2,000.
According to reviews from the community and experts, Kiki Auto is loved by users for its ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for music, directions, and in-car controls thanks to its ability to listen and understand Vietnamese well. Easy communication between the driver and AI has helped Kiki Auto quickly become popular in Vietnam.
Also on this occasion, Kiki Auto has upgraded the speed warning feature experience version compared to the previous limited trial version, supporting trial use until March 2025.
Sharing about this feature, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Khanh Duy - Product Manager at Zalo said: “Understanding the needs of car drivers in Vietnam, the Kiki Auto team has invested in researching and developing the speed warning feature with increasing perfection. With the existing strength in AI as well as the experience in developing products for Vietnamese people, the team has integrated complex data and signal processing algorithms to ensure accuracy as well as optimize user experience. In the future, we will continue to upgrade this feature to help drivers stay steady on all roads.”
Compared to the first test version, the current version has been upgraded in terms of accuracy as well as enhanced speed data on inter-provincial routes. In addition, the development team also optimized performance and refined the user-friendly experience.
Previously, the early experience version with activation code was opened to user groups in November 2024 and received positive reviews. The development team also regularly receives contributions from real-life user experiences to continuously optimize the feature. With the upgrade launched in December, car owners will not have to register but only need to open the Kiki Auto application on the Android screen and turn on the speed warning feature to use.
In the coming time, Kiki Auto will develop more new useful and practical features specifically for Vietnamese people. With this orientation, the development team will further strengthen Kiki Auto's understanding and communication ability in Vietnamese, thereby bringing many new smart driving features in addition to the features that are familiar to users such as directions, listening to music, looking up information or checking fines.
Kiki Auto is also promoting cooperation with global brands on the journey to make its mark in the Vietnamese market, typically including 25 partners in the field of smart screens such as Zestech, Gotech, Bravigo, Safeview, OledPro, Steelmate, Teyes... Recently, the Kiki Auto test version was also integrated on the BYD Atto 3 electric car model to control important features of the car such as opening the camera, increasing and decreasing the volume or rotating the physical screen.
In 2025, Kiki Auto will push forward its plan to appear as a pre-installed assistant application on genuine car models.
According to the October 2024 sales report of VAMA - Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association and TC Motor, nearly 1,250 cars are sold in Vietnam every day. |
