(Ho Chi Minh City, January 10, 2025 ) - Kiki Auto, a smart in-car assistant developed by the Zalo AI team, has just been honored in the category of "Best Vietnamese Virtual Assistant" at the annual Tech Awards 2024.
Kiki Auto has successfully surpassed 2 other Vietnamese assistants with a total score of 8.7/10 from users and the Jury. The product is highly appreciated by users and experts thanks to its ability to understand and accurately respond to requests in Vietnamese, from listening to music, giving directions to looking up information or checking traffic fines.
Launched in late 2020, the “made in Vietnam” assistant Kiki Auto officially reached 1 million installs in December 2024. The goal of the Zalo AI team is to develop a purely Vietnamese smart assistant that understands the needs and is capable of providing optimal support for Vietnamese users.

Currently, Kiki Auto has been upgraded with advanced E2E voice recognition technology, which significantly improves the speed and accuracy of response. The development team continuously optimizes the model so that Kiki can operate effectively in different environments and communicate smoothly with users in all regions. In addition, Kiki Auto also promotes cooperation with more than 25 partners in the field of smart screens, including major brands such as Zestech, Gotech, Bravigo. Recently, Kiki Auto has also been integrated into the BYD Atto 3 electric vehicle model, allowing control of important features such as opening the camera, adjusting the volume and rotating the physical screen.
Tech Awards is a prestigious annual award organized by VnExpress since 2012, to honor outstanding technology products and brands, officially sold in the Vietnamese market during the year. In 2024, the award focuses on honoring products and applications integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology with 4 main categories including Digital Products, Household Brands, Applications & Platforms and honoring Reviewers.
At the 2024 General Meeting of Shareholders, VNG identified AI as one of the company's three core strategies in the coming time, focusing on all three layers: infrastructure, platform and application. In which, Kiki Auto is an important representative that VNG develops in the application layer, reflecting VNG's long-term vision in applying and commercializing AI technology in life. In 2025, Kiki Auto will continue to promote its launch plan as a pre-installed assistant application on genuine car models.
