Kiki Giao Thong performed at the Conference on Deploying 2025 Tasks of the Ministry of Information and Communications

On December 29, 2024, the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) held a conference to review the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025, with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc and Minister of MIC Nguyen Manh Hung, along with leaders of ministries, branches and central agencies.

Many outstanding Vietnamese technology products were exhibited at the Conference, divided into topics such as 5G, postal - press, virtual assistant, virtual reality and the special exhibition "Happy Vietnam". Zalo was honored to participate with two breakthrough artificial intelligence solutions: Kiki Auto, a smart assistant for cars, and Kiki Traffic, an application that supports looking up and answering questions about traffic violations in Vietnam.

Visiting the Zalo booth, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung and Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat directly experienced Kiki Auto and Kiki Giao Thong products. When Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc asked about exchanging old driver's licenses, Kiki Giao Thong gave a detailed answer about the process of exchanging driver's licenses. The application also provides specific steps for vehicle owners to do this, and provides additional information for users to refer to or consult a lawyer when necessary.

Built on Zalo AI's LLM large language model, Kiki Traffic stands out with its ability to understand and analyze users' questions, providing accurate answers thanks to data sources from legal documents and official documents. The product is highly appreciated by users for its ability to provide detailed information on fines and serious violations.

Besides Kiki Traffic, Vietnamese AI assistant Kiki Auto is also a bright spot in 2024. Developed by Zalo AI engineers, Kiki Auto reached the milestone of one million installations on cars in Vietnam in December 2024. With the ability to understand and interact intelligently in Vietnamese, Kiki Auto helps users optimize tasks on the car, with outstanding features such as listening to music and directions, along with other functions such as reading news, looking up information, checking fines...

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc emphasized the importance of promoting innovation, developing digital infrastructure and applying AI in the digital age. He also said that the development of AI products such as Kiki Giao Thong and Kiki Auto is a clear demonstration of the technological potential of Vietnamese enterprises, contributing to the national digital transformation and enhancing Vietnam's position on the international technology map.

Also within the framework of the Conference, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung reviewed the outstanding achievements of the Information and Communications sector in 2024, including the fields of Post, Telecommunications, network information security, digital technology industry, data infrastructure, digital government and digital economy. These achievements not only affirm the strong development in the country but also bring Vietnam to high rankings in the international rankings: Vietnam is currently ranked 31st in post, 72nd in telecommunications, and 17th in network information security.
