On March 23, the Khanh Hoa People Speak English program organized the final round of the Master English Master Your Life 2025 contest. This is an English contest for different groups of people such as students, traders, women's associations and employees in enterprises.

The contest took place from March 14, attracting 1,500 candidates to participate in the preliminary round in the form of an online exam. Each group will be given a separate set of questions to ensure fairness of opportunity and avoid differences in ability. The 160 candidates with the best results passed the preliminary round and continued to compete in the final round.

Here, contestants in each group will go through 3 rounds: Answering English questions on kahoot (kahoot is a digital learning platform that uses games in the form of one side asking, the other side answering - PV); ringing the bell for the answer to find keywords; finally, testing English speaking ability, 1-on-1 questions with judges and debating on stage.

At the end of the contest, the organizers selected the 20 contestants with the highest scores from the groups and awarded them a 4-day, 3-night trip to Malaysia.
After the competition, Bui Tri (from Nha Trang City) said he was very excited and happy to achieve the highest position in the student group. “This competition is a useful and meaningful playground that helps candidates like me have the opportunity to practice their skills and discover their own abilities,” Tri shared.

Ms. Mai Thi Hong Dieu (a trader at Dam Market, Nha Trang City) has been studying English at the Dam Market Traders Club for more than 2 years now. Ms. Dieu said that recently, she has been bold in communicating in English with foreign customers, confidently promoting more about the products she is selling, and exchanging information about prices with customers faster than before.
“The happiest thing is that when I come to this contest, I have the opportunity to connect with many people, from which I can improve my English communication skills, which is very supportive for my business,” said Ms. Dieu.

According to the representative of the Khanh Hoa People Speaking English program, this is a 5-year social project and is chaired and implemented by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee. The program focuses on people, focuses on speaking skills and is mainly implemented by volunteers with the goal of popularizing English to all people in the province.
Recently, in Khanh Hoa, 250 English clubs have been formed with more than 10,000 participants who learn English completely free of charge every week.
