In the first quarter of 2025, in the context of many difficulties and challenges; having to focus on implementing many new policies of the Central Government, but with the efforts of the entire political system, the socio-economic situation still achieved positive results. In particular, Ha Tinh's economic growth is estimated at 6.5-7%.

Total budget revenue in the area reached over 4,500 billion VND, reaching 26% of the estimate; total investment capital implemented in the whole society reached over 12,000 billion VND, reaching 25% of the annual plan; Disbursement of public investment capital reached 1,027 billion VND, reaching 23% of the plan, ranking 7th out of 110 ministries, branches and localities. Along with that, the task of arranging and streamlining the apparatus was focused on, the socio-cultural sector achieved remarkable results, the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is being vigorously implemented. National defense and security are ensured.

Discussing at the meeting, delegates focused on evaluating the results, analyzing difficulties and obstacles in implementing socio-economic development tasks in the first quarter; proposing solutions to promote economic growth, develop culture - society and ensure national security and defense. At the same time, they listened to reports and gave opinions on adjusting the investment policy of the Vinhomes Vung Ang Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project; Draft Project on Merging Ha Tinh Newspaper and Ha Tinh Radio - Television Station.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Duy Lam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, affirmed: The results achieved in the first quarter demonstrated the flexible and effective management of the authorities at all levels. Orienting the implementation of tasks in the second quarter and the coming time, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial People's Committee, sectors and localities to continue to resolutely implement the Resolutions of the Central and the province, ensuring the growth target of 8%.

In particular, focus on implementing key projects, at the same time pay attention to calling for investment in new projects, creating new growth momentum. Strengthen inspection and supervision, attach responsibility to leaders in implementing specific goals and tasks, continue to reform administrative procedures, improve the investment and business environment, and implement Resolution No. 57 on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.

For now, Implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, determined to complete before May 19. Based on the criteria according to the draft Project of the Government, urgently direct the overall review and assessment to proactively develop projects and plans to arrange commune-level administrative units according to the requirements and progress of the Central Government. At the same time, focus on preparing well for the organization of Party Congresses at all levels towards the 20th Provincial Party Congress. Immediately after the Politburo issued a document amending Directive 35, it requested the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to advise on a timely implementation plan.

Regarding the Project to merge Ha Tinh Newspaper and Ha Tinh Radio and Television Station, the name is unified: Ha Tinh Newspaper. Organizational model after merger: A public service unit under the Provincial Party Committee, according to the regulations of the Central Committee. Assign the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and related units to complete the project and submit it to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for signing and promulgation before March 27, 2025.
