On October 29, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it recorded 10 rocket launches from Lebanon into Israeli territory.
“Following initial reports of sirens being sounded in northern Israel, 10 launches were detected from Lebanon into Israeli territory. The IDF also said it was striking Lebanon in response,” the IDF statement said.

On the same day, Hezbollah armed forces in Lebanon announced that they had shot down an Israeli drone in southern Lebanon with a surface-to-air missile.
Hezbollah said the drone was hit near Khiam, about 5km from the border with Israel, and was found to have crashed in Israeli territory. Two Lebanese security sources said it was the first time Hezbollah had claimed to have shot down an Israeli drone.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Israel carried out missile strikes on several areas in the southern Syrian province of Daraa in response to alleged missile fire from Syria.

SOHR confirmed Israeli missile strikes in the Daraa countryside, where the rocket attack on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights originated. There was no specific information about the damage caused by the Israeli attack.
Meanwhile, there were reports of an explosion at a US base in the Shaddadi area of Hasakah province in northeastern Syria on the same day. SOHR said there have been a total of 14 attacks on US bases in Syria since the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict on October 7.
Fighting has increased simultaneously on all three fronts that the Israeli army is deploying, causing regional public opinion to fear that the conflict is at risk of spreading throughout the Middle East.
