At the reception, Mr. Jose Serrador, Global Vice President of Embraer Group, said that since Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to the group's aircraft manufacturing plant and working with the group's Chairman and CEO in September 2023, Embraer has worked with domestic partners such as Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet to expand cooperation with Vietnam.

He said that the group had previously provided aircraft for the Hanoi-Con Dao route and had operated 5 Embraer aircraft in Vietnam with Bamboo Airways (2020-2023). The Embraer Group's leaders also updated the group's business situation and discussed Embraer's strategy and cooperation commitments with Vietnam in the coming time, in both multi-purpose, commercial and military aviation.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated the group on its effective business activities in the past year, which were better than the previous year. The Prime Minister said he was very happy that after his visit last year, the relationship between the two sides had achieved many important advances. The Prime Minister asked the group to study and continue to discuss with Vietnamese partners such as Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet, etc. to move towards specific cooperation activities, bringing practical benefits to both sides. The Prime Minister said that Bamboo will also return soon in the near future.
The Prime Minister shared that in the coming time, Vietnam will focus on developing marine space, underground space, outer space and Vietnam wants to build an aviation hub. The Prime Minister invited the Embraer Group to consult Vietnam in this field.

In the immediate future, research a few major airports in Vietnam, build pilot training centers, the spirit is not perfectionism, not haste.
The Prime Minister emphasized that promoting aviation is very important in promoting relations between the two countries and in the current world trend, people's lives are better year after year, income is also higher, so the demand for travel, tourism and exchange is also higher. Moreover, the trend of peace, cooperation and development is the main trend, human exchange is increasing, and these trends require airplanes, so Vietnam will focus on this field.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the proposals of Embraer Group and asked Embraer to continue to closely coordinate with relevant agencies of Vietnam to discuss and resolve existing problems as well as seek opportunities to expand the market in Vietnam.
