Visiting the Brazilian aerospace corporation Embraer, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was invited into the cockpit of a passenger plane of the company and sat in the captain's seat.

On the afternoon of September 23 local time (morning of September 24 Vietnam time), after arriving in Brazil, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and worked with Embraer Group headquartered in Sao Jose city, Sao Paulo state.
Embraer is a global aerospace corporation, founded in 1969 with headquarters in Brazil. It is currently the third largest commercial aircraft manufacturer in the world, after Boeing and Airbus, with a strength in manufacturing aircraft under 130 seats.
Embraer Group Chairman and CEO Francisco Gomes Neto welcomed Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the door, thanking him for taking the time to visit.
At the meeting that followed, Mr. Francisco Gomes Neto commented that Vietnam is a very potential market, suitable for Embraer's available aircraft lines for short-haul flights. In Vietnam, Embraer has delivered 5 E190 aircraft to Bamboo Airways.
Embraer leaders expressed their desire to continue receiving attention and support from the Vietnamese Government in the process of seeking cooperation opportunities and expanding the market in Vietnam.
He affirmed that the group is ready to deploy aircraft maintenance and repair services in Vietnam, as well as provide technological solutions in the aviation sector.
Assessing the many advantages of air transport, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that Vietnam's aviation industry has developed very rapidly in recent times. This is due to the speed of socio-economic development, the increase in tourism demand and trade and investment activities.
He highly appreciated Embraer 's commercial aircraft for their operational safety and environmental friendliness.
The group's new generation of commercial aircraft can be the solution to help Vietnamese airlines both develop their fleets and ensure efficient and safe operations.

Believing in the future of aviation trade between Vietnam and Brazil, the Prime Minister suggested that Embraer expand cooperation and investment to develop the group's business ecosystem in Vietnam.
He suggested that the group participate in training human resources in the aviation industry, providing short/long-term professional training courses for officials in the Vietnamese aviation industry.
He also proposed supporting Vietnam with technological solutions to help improve management capacity in the aviation sector, increase automation, and support forecasting and risk prevention in flight management activities.
After the meeting, Embraer leaders accompanied Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to visit the aircraft display area and introduce the group's modern production infrastructure.

Immediately after visiting Embraer Group, the Prime Minister met with representatives of the overseas Vietnamese community in Brazil and neighboring countries.
At the meeting, representatives of the people expressed their honor and emotion when the Prime Minister showed his concern for overseas Vietnamese. They also wished that the country would develop further and have a higher position in the international arena.
In response, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hopes that people will continue to unite and turn towards their homeland. First of all, taking care of yourself and your family is also contributing to the development of the country.
"Every bowl of rice and soup you take care of for your family is also a contribution to the country because if the family is stable, the country will also be stable and develop," he said.
He pledged to discuss the issues raised by the people when meeting with Brazilian President Lula da Silva, and asked the government to create conditions to better help and support the people.
