Start of demolition of 1,470 temporary and dilapidated houses

According to the plan, by 2025, the whole province strives to complete the elimination of 3,372 temporary and dilapidated houses, including 2,016 households in need of new construction and 1,356 households in need of repairing temporary and dilapidated houses for 3 programs: Housing support for people with revolutionary contributions; Housing support under the national target program; Elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households. The total funding needed to eliminate temporary houses in the province is nearly 162 billion VND.

Thanks to the efforts and joint efforts of Party committees, authorities at all levels, departments, branches and organizations, as of April 8, the whole province has started to build and repair 1,470 houses. Of which, 343 houses are supported for people with revolutionary contributions (146 new houses, 197 houses are repaired); 40 houses are supported for housing under the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas and 1,087 houses for poor and near-poor households (791 new houses, 296 houses are repaired).

The whole province strives to complete the construction and repair of new houses for households eligible for repair and new construction support for all 3 subjects by October 31, 2025 according to the plan and direction of the Prime Minister in the Conclusion Notice No. 158/TB-VPCP dated April 5, 2025 on the conclusion notice of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 3rd national online meeting of the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.
