At the program, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate those who lost their lives due to floods and natural disasters in recent days.

One of the most touching moments at the program was when Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh went on stage to encourage and give gifts to Nguyen Quoc Bao, an orphan due to floods.

Born in 2016, Nguyen Quoc Bao lost both his father and sister when the three of them were swept away by floodwaters while traveling by motorbike across the spillway in Cau Treo village, Yen Thuan commune, Ham Yen district, Tuyen Quang province.

The Prime Minister also thanked and encouraged Captain Luc Van Nguyen, a police officer of Yen Thuan commune, who directly rescued the child from the flood. It is known that the Vietnam Television Trade Union has decided to sponsor Nguyen Quoc Bao so that he can have the conditions to study until he is 18 years old.

The Prime Minister shared with his compatriots and comrades about "6 pillars of Vietnam".

Firstly, it is the fulcrum of the spirit of great national unity, unity within the Party, unity among the People, unity within the country, and international unity, "Unity, unity, great unity, success, success, great success" as Uncle Ho said.

The second support is that we have the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam leading us for nearly 95 years. The Party has no other goal than to bring independence and freedom to the nation and a prosperous and happy life to the people.

The third fulcrum is the heroic, civilized, and cultured historical and cultural tradition of the nation, the spirit of mutual love and support, "love others as you love yourself", "the whole leaf covers the torn leaf, the torn leaf covers the more torn leaf", "gourd, please love the squash...".

The fifth fulcrum is the people. The people make history, strength comes from the people, "a hundred times easier without the people, ten thousand times harder with the people, it can be done".

The fifth support is the army and police. "In times of need and difficulty, there is the army and police"; "Our army comes from the people, fights for the people"; "Our police forget themselves for the country, serve the people".

The sixth fulcrum is the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement of our nation and of each individual. When facing difficulties and challenges, the more pressure there is, the more effort and striving to rise up, overcoming one's own limits, with the spirit of "turning nothing into something, turning difficult into easy, turning the impossible into possible".

With the above six pillars of Vietnam, the Prime Minister called on compatriots and comrades to "work twice as hard", "work during the day if not enough, take advantage of working at night" to contribute to overcoming the consequences of super typhoon No. 3 in 26 northern provinces and cities, contributing to building a strong and prosperous Vietnam, and our people becoming increasingly happy and prosperous./.
