On the morning of March 11, Hanoi City Police held a ceremony to honor "Outstanding and typical young faces of the Capital Police in 2024" and launched a peak period of the Capital Police Youth Union to participate in ensuring security and order for Party congresses at all levels, national events, and international conferences in the capital in 2025.

Attending the ceremony were Major General Dang Hong Duc, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam and Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Hanoi City Police.

Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police, emphasized: The Outstanding Young Faces of the Capital Police Award is a reward and honor from Hanoi City Police for typical young people with outstanding achievements, creating a wide spread in the collective and community about their efforts and striving to excel in the fields of: study, work, training, combat, research, application of science, technology, engineering, arts and sports.

Therefore, officers and soldiers must not "rest on their laurels" or be satisfied with their achievements, but must always try and constantly strive to achieve greater successes, to be worthy of the honor and tradition of the Capital Police force, and to devote themselves to serving the country and the people.

According to Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, the 10 young union members who were honored are also typical examples of cultivating revolutionary ethics; being dedicated and creative in work; being resourceful and brave in combat; being ready to receive and excellently completing all assigned tasks; and being the core in the work of the Union and youth movement of the City Police.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Youth Unions of the affiliated units simultaneously took action in formation; 526 Youth Unions of the Public Security of communes, wards and towns in the area also simultaneously organized many practical and meaningful response activities in the localities and units, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and creativity, and the vanguard of the young generation of the new-age Capital Public Security...
