On September 6, Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work.

Attending the conference were Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong; Party Central Committee member, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung; Alternate Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee Trinh Viet Hung and Deputy Ministers of Information and Communications.

According to the decision, the Secretariat mobilized and appointed Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and at the same time introduced him to the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council to elect him as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong said that the Secretariat's appointment of Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung to take on the task of Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee and the introduction of the Provincial People's Council to elect him as Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee is to continue to consolidate and perfect the leadership apparatus of Thai Nguyen province.

Previously, based on the requirements, tasks and practices of Thai Nguyen, former Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai was assigned by the Central Government to work at the National Assembly, and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee Trinh Viet Hung was assigned by the Central Government to hold the position of Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.

Congratulating the new Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huy Dung on receiving the trust of the Secretariat, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong also believes that, with his experience, capacity and moral qualities, in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung will continue to promote and quickly grasp the work situation in the province, to work with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to strive to successfully carry out the tasks of Thai Nguyen.

Commenting on Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung's assignment to work in Thai Nguyen as "going to the grassroots", Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee Nguyen Quang Duong said that this is a good opportunity for the new Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee to promote his strengths and perform well the relatively new tasks in a developing locality like Thai Nguyen.

Appreciating the solidarity of the leadership of Thai Nguyen province, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong suggested that the province continue to promote this spirit and strive to unite, support and coordinate so that the new Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huy Dung can best fulfill his duties in the coming time.

Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee also hopes that the new Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huy Dung will quickly grasp the work, closely coordinate with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee to well implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress.

Receiving the new assignment, Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huy Dung said that this is an honor, pride and also a great responsibility for him; at the same time, he committed that in the assigned position, he will promote all his abilities and unite in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to successfully complete all assigned goals and tasks.

“I will not disappoint the trust of the leaders, will promote all the youthful energy, experience and accumulated professional knowledge, consider "digital transformation as an important driving force for developing productive forces, perfecting production relations" as directed and oriented by General Secretary and President To Lam; contribute my small efforts to serve Thai Nguyen province; promote the potential and strengths of Thai Nguyen province, develop Thai Nguyen province, contribute to the overall development of the country ", Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung pledged.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung also promised to strive to learn from his predecessors and hoped to receive cooperation, sharing and support from the Provincial Party Secretary and members of the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee. This would help him make a good transition from specialized state management of a single sector nationwide to comprehensive multi-sector state management in a locality.

“From now on, I am a son of the people of Thai Nguyen. I vow to devote all my intelligence and emotions to the development of Thai Nguyen. I wish to take the happy life of the people of Thai Nguyen province as my own happiness,” Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung shared.

The new Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Huy Dung, born in 1983, is a former student of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, graduated with a degree in IT engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Before being assigned by the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung had nearly 18 years of experience with the Ministry of Information and Communications, holding many positions, including the period 2014 - 2020 as a Department-level officer of the Ministry of Information and Communications and from 2020 to present, he has held the position of Deputy Minister of Information and Communications.

According to the assessment and comments of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung has excellently completed all assigned tasks in all positions, is a very good professional, and has made many contributions to the development of the Information and Communications industry and the country.

Mr. Trinh Viet Hung was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee . Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, was elected by the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province . The new Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Huy Dung, was elected by the People's Council of Thai Nguyen province to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
