Also in last night's match (November 26), Tottenham had to leave empty-handed at home when they lost 1-2 to Aston Villa.
Giovani Lo Celso put Tottenham ahead in the 27th minute, but they were beaten by Aston Villa thanks to goals from Pau Torres and Ollie Watkins.
This result caused coach Ange Postecoglou and his team to suffer their third consecutive defeat, thereby losing their top 4 position to Aston Villa.
After 13 rounds, Tottenham has 26 points, two points behind Aston Villa. Tottenham is equal on points with MU but is ranked higher thanks to a better goal difference.
