Dear compatriots, comrades and soldiers of the Capital!
At the moment when the whole country joyfully welcomes the traditional New Year of the nation - At Ty 2025, commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), on behalf of the leaders of Hanoi City, I would like to cordially send to the people, comrades and soldiers of the Capital, the children of beloved Hanoi across the country and abroad my warmest feelings, sincere greetings and best wishes for the New Year.
The year of Giap Thin - 2024 has just passed with many memorable events - a year with many difficulties, great challenges, and multi-faceted impacts not only on our Capital but also on the whole country and the world. In that special context, the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army of the Capital have promoted the spirit of ardent patriotism, deep love for Hanoi, determination, courage, solidarity, dynamism, creativity, and strived to achieve many important and quite comprehensive achievements, with many outstanding marks: The National Assembly passed the Law on the Capital (amended); the Hanoi Capital Planning Project for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 and the project to adjust the Hanoi Capital Master Plan to 2045, with a vision to 2065 have been approved as the legal basis, major and important orientations for the development of the Capital in the present and the future; The 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital and the 25th anniversary of the City for Peace were celebrated extensively and had profound significance; The city's budget revenue reached 511,928 trillion VND, reaching 125.3% of the plan (the highest ever); Hanoi pioneered in implementing Digital Transformation and Project 06 of the Government; Developing cultural industry - Strongly promoting tourism; Social security was ensured, people's lives were improved; the defense area drill was innovated in terms of content, form, scale and was absolutely safe... these are important premises for Hanoi to continue to promote its potential and internal strength in implementing the guiding ideology and major orientation of the Party and General Secretary To Lam on the New Era - the Era of national development. Entering the year of At Ty 2025, a year with many important events for the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi such as: the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee (March 17, 1930 - March 17, 2025), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)...; The final year to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out by the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, the year to deploy the arrangement and construction of a streamlined - strong - effective - efficient - effective City political system in accordance with the direction of the Central Committee, the year to hold Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
