The Ba Trieu Temple Festival is a traditional festival to commemorate the national hero Trieu Thi Trinh and other heroes who contributed to the history of building and defending the country, expressing the deep gratitude of today's generation for the heritage left by their ancestors, reviving the cultural tradition imbued with national identity and Thanh land.
At the festival, Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh reviewed the life and glorious, majestic career of Ba Trieu; remembered and paid tribute to the outstanding Heroine Trieu Thi Trinh and the talented generals and loyal soldiers of the Ba Trieu Uprising - those who wrote the golden pages in the history of building and defending the nation.
The Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee emphasized that Ba Trieu is a national heroine who successfully continued the great career of Hai Ba Trung, glorifying the tradition of patriotism, arousing and nurturing the indomitable and resilient will of future generations of Vietnamese women: "When the enemy comes, women will fight."
Our nation will forever remember the merits and be forever proud of the heroic woman Trieu Thi Trinh.
The Ba Trieu Temple Festival takes place with many rich activities: Incense offering ceremony at Ba Trieu Temple and her tomb on Tung Mountain; incense offering at the tomb of the three generals of the Ly family at the foot of Tung Mountain; incense offering at De Tu Temple, Ban The Temple, Phu Dien communal house; organizing a palanquin procession according to traditional rituals from Ba Trieu Temple to Phu Dien communal house, De Tu Temple, Ban Tho Temple, Ba Trieu's tomb; Moc Duc ceremony, Phung Nghinh sacrifice, battle festival...
In addition to the ceremony, there are also rich and attractive traditional sports and cultural activities.
