Concert "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" sets Guinness record for the largest number of people wearing traditional Vietnamese costumes

From early morning on March 22, thousands of fans in traditional costumes were present at the concert venue “Anh trai vu ngan cong gai” on March 3 and 4 to set a Guinness World Record for “The event with the largest number of participants wearing traditional Vietnamese costumes”.

The record was set by spectators lining up through a camera to enter the Guinness Road area. The person who “held the scales” for this event was Mr. Kirimura Kazuyoshi - Guinness World Records International Referee.

5000 spectators in traditional costumes created a Guinness record.

At the time Mr. Kirimura Kazuyoshi performs the count, all audience members must be in the designated area. If more than 10% of the audience members leave the Guinness Road before the count is established, it will affect the successful establishment of the count.

Throughout the event, in addition to the response of thousands of audiences, the program also had professional consultation from experts. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Chairman of the National Heritage Council, member of the UNESCO Heritage Council connected and advised on the preparation process of the Guinness Road.

Also present were Dr. Le Thi Minh Ly, Member of the National Cultural Heritage Council, Vice President of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association; Dr. Phan Thanh Hai, Member of the National Cultural Heritage Council, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City.

In addition, parallel to the event, there are also activities such as the Parade recreating the beauty of traditional costumes of Bach Hoa Bo Hanh - Traditional costume exhibition area; Vietnamese ethnic costumes - Exhibition area and check-in with backdrop of 54 national costumes and Exchange with Ao Dai Ambassador - Talented Tang Phuc.

The organizers recorded the event with more than 5,000 spectators together setting the record "Guinness World Road".

With this impressive number, the concert "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" 2025 has spread community solidarity and national pride through traditional costumes.

Concerts “Anh trai vu ngan cong gai” 3 and 4 took place at The Global City (Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City) on March 22 and 23.
