That is the result of the research topic "Application of 4.0 technology in management, preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values ​​at Lam Dong Museum" deployed by the Department of Science and Technology. Lam Dong Museum currently displays about 2,000 artifacts out of more than 12,000 artifacts under management. In the trend of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution in conservation management, museums are inevitable. After more than 2 years, experts and scientists have implemented a system and digitized the database of scientific records of tangible and intangible heritage, digitized the database and scientific records for 5,000 typical artifacts, serving the management and promotion of values, as a basis for continuing to digitize all artifacts at Lam Dong Museum; built a software system to manage the database of artifacts of Lam Dong Museum, serving the management, preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values; 3D reconstruction of 200 typical and valuable artifacts currently on display at Lam Dong Museum, and integration into the 3D tour system (virtual tour) on the internet environment. Thereby, it has allowed visitors to have experiences similar to real space anytime, anywhere via the internet.

Along with the construction of the Virtual Reality Museum, the Lam Dong Museum's management and inventory software is also built based on general criteria on expertise and profession in the museum field and the characteristics and actual conditions. The applied management software has systematically managed all museum artifact data. The software is easy to use; saves a lot of time in managing, retrieving, and searching for artifact information; is convenient for searching and ensuring information security. The software allows museum staff to search for artifact information based on available criteria of the artifact (collection, material, type, etc.); allows reporting of artifact data based on classification criteria according to the museum's professional requirements such as: quantity based on collection; based on material, type and preservation status, etc.; allows adjusting artifact information, adding new collections. At the same time, the software is capable of storing large amounts of information; Decentralized management and the ability to back up data to ensure safety, restore 3D artifacts when needed... Mr. Hoang Ngoc Huy - Director of Lam Dong Museum said that the application of 4.0 technology has contributed to improving the operational efficiency of Lam Dong Museum in managing, preserving and promoting the value of national cultural heritage.
