Thai Nguyen organizes Supply Connection Festival

The festival connecting supply and demand for agricultural tourism in Thai Nguyen province has nearly 500 products displayed at 40 booths. Of which, there are 25 booths of units in the province and 15 booths of 7 provinces and cities in the country (including: Hanoi, Ha Nam, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Cao Bang, Bac Kan).

With the theme “Convergence and dissemination of values ​​and cultural quintessence of Viet Bac region”, Thai Nguyen province’s products introduced at the Festival include 240 OCOP products from 3 to 5 stars, typical agricultural products to promote and develop rural tourism products, OCOP products in the province; contributing to promoting sustainable rural economic development.

In addition, the festival also includes many activities such as: Displaying and introducing agricultural tourism products; screening documentary films introducing landscapes, landscapes, and Thai Nguyen tea culture; performing the art of making tea, enjoying tea and experiencing tea processing in the traditional way...

Having been successful with cultural, spiritual, historical and origin tourism products, in recent years, Thai Nguyen province has also focused on developing community and rural tourism products associated with tea culture, helping to improve livelihoods, create jobs, increase income and quality of life for farmers.

Thai Nguyen currently has 6 specialty tea regions including: Tan Cuong (Thai Nguyen city), La Bang (Dai Tu district), Trai Cai - Minh Lap (Dong Hy district), Tuc Tranh (Phu Luong district), Phu Ninh (Dinh Hoa district). Recognizing the position and role of tea trees and tea culture in tourism development, Thai Nguyen province has been promoting tourism development associated with tea products and tea culture.

Currently, Thai Nguyen is focusing resources to support the development of 5 community tourism spots associated with tea culture and source tourism according to the Tourism Development Project for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030.
