Japan's Cosmo Beauty Group targets the Vietnamese skin care market

(NADS) - On the morning of April 4, the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry - Ho Chi Minh City Branch (VCCI-HCM) coordinated with Cosmo Beauty Company to organize a session to introduce Japanese cosmetic production technology.

It is worth mentioning that the event unexpectedly attracted investors, received more attention and attracted more than expected. Before the event took place, the Organizing Committee had to send out a series of notices via email to stop accepting more attendees due to overload.

According to VCCI, the Japanese cosmetics industry is famous worldwide for its quality, and its market segment is quite diverse with a full range of brands from affordable to high-end.

This event aims to provide opportunities for businesses and individuals interested in building and developing their own cosmetic brands, and at the same time access the potential Japanese cosmetic production and distribution system in Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hao, Deputy Director of Vina Cosmo Co., Ltd. said that after more than 30 years in Vietnam, Cosmo Group has had 3 companies in Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City that meet GMP standards. As a Chemical - Cosmetic OEM group in the Top 3 in Japan, in the past few years, Cosmo has recognized the interest of Vietnamese startups, Vietnamese enterprises and especially Vietnamese consumers in skin care cosmetics with Japanese standards and origins, we decided to expand to the Vietnamese market and seek cooperation opportunities with Vietnamese enterprises.

In his closing speech at the event, Mr. Shinya Tanaka, CEO of Cosmo Beauty Group, said that in Vietnam, we have received a lot of support in product production, with 40% of the Group's total products being produced in Vietnam, which are currently mainly exported to Japan. And now, with our motto of wanting to bring happiness and beauty from Japan to Vietnam, we hope that Vietnamese people will pay more attention and support us, from the initial product idea, to the R&D production stage, packaging design stage, import and export process... Cosmo is committed to supporting with a team of Vietnamese experts working in Japan.
