The Drug Administration of Vietnam announces the suspension of circulation and recall nationwide of 3 product batches, including: SH Today Hai Duong Cosmetics 3-in-1 Anti-Spot Cream (1 jar, 15g); Nairem Collagen Whitening and Smoothing Cream; and Gia Minh Baby Bath Wash (1 jar, 180ml).

SH Today Hai Duong Cosmetics 3-in-1 Anti-Spot Cream - Box of 1 jar (15g), Product Announcement Number: SCB: 005217/19/CBMP-HCM; Batch Number: 0404024; Manufacturing Date: 08/04/2024. The organization responsible for marketing and manufacturing this product is Hai Duong Cosmetics Production and Trading Co., Ltd.

The Drug Administration Department issued a decision to recall the product because the tested sample failed to meet quality standards and contained Propylparaben, which is not included in the formula of the cosmetic product that had been granted a product declaration certificate.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam has suspended the circulation and ordered the nationwide recall of the Gia Minh baby bath soap product - 1 bottle of 180 ml, Batch No.: 082024; Manufacturing Date: 19/08/2024; Expiry Date: 18/08/2027, manufactured by HD Gia Minh Trading Co., Ltd. and Quang Xanh Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics Co., Ltd. Product samples from these companies failed to meet quality standards regarding the limit of microorganisms in cosmetics as stipulated by regulations.

The third product to be suspended from circulation and recalled nationwide is Nairem Collagen whitening and smoothing cream - 1 jar of 8g, Lot number: 01; Manufacturing date: 14/06/2024. The product is manufactured and marketed by Nhat Viet Cosmetics Production and Trading Co., Ltd. (Hiep Binh Chanh Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City).

The product sample from this company failed to meet quality standards because it contained Propylparaben, which is not included in the formula of the product that was granted a Cosmetic Product Declaration Certificate.

The Drug Administration Department requests that local health departments notify businesses and users of cosmetics in their areas to immediately cease trading and using the aforementioned product batch and return it to the supplier; proceed with recalling and destroying the infringing product batches; inspect and monitor units implementing this notification; and handle violating units according to current regulations.
