The first Conference of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations

(NADS) - On the morning of February 13, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations held the first expanded Executive Committee Conference to announce the Decision to establish the Party Committee and deploy personnel work, marking an important step in Party building work at the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations.

Comrade Do Hong Quan, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, spoke at the Conference.

Attending the Conference were Comrade Kieu Cao Chung, Deputy Director of Department V, Central Organizing Committee; Comrade Le Toan Khanh, Deputy Director of Department VI, Central Inspection Committee; Comrade Do Hong Quan, Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Non-professional Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Comrade Doan Thanh No, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; together with the Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and 13 Party Cells under the Union Party Committee.

At the Conference, comrade Do Hong Quan announced the Decision to establish the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations for the 2020-2025 term of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations.

The Party organizations under the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations include: Party Committee of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association; Party Cell of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Party Cell of the Vietnam Dance Artists Association; Party Cell of the Vietnam Association of Literature and Arts of Ethnic Minorities; Party Cell of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association; Party Cell of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; Party Cell of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association; Party Cell of the Vietnam Cinematography Association; Party Cell of the Vietnam Association of Architects; Party Cell of the Vietnam Musicians Association; Party Cell of the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Literature and Arts Creation; Party Cell of the Vietnam Publishing Association; Party Cell of the Literature and Arts Times; Party Cell of the Vietnam Circus Association.

The establishment of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations marks an important milestone, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party and State for the field of literature and arts. This is also an opportunity for the entire Party Committee to unite and promote its leadership role in orienting the activities of the Union, meeting the requirements of literature and arts development in the new period.

The conference also approved the Decision on appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations for the 2020-2025 term of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations consists of 12 comrades: Do Hong Quan, President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Doan Thanh No, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Trinh Thuy Mui, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association; Tran Thi Thu Dong, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; Nong Quoc Binh, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Association of Literature and Arts of Ethnic Minorities; Vuong Duy Bien, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Le Hong Ly, President of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association; Nguyen Duc Trinh, President of the Vietnam Musicians Association; Pham Anh Phuong, President of the Vietnam Dance Artists Association; Phan Dang Son, President of the Vietnam Architects Association; Luong Xuan Doan, President of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association; Do Lenh Hung Tu, Chairman of Vietnam Cinema Association.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations for the 2020 - 2025 term includes 5 comrades: Do Hong Quan, President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Doan Thanh No, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Nong Quoc Binh, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Association of Ethnic Minorities; Trinh Thuy Mui, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association; Tran Thi Thu Dong, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

According to the Decision, comrade Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations for the 2020-2025 term.

Appointed 2 comrades to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations for the 2020-2025 term: Comrade Doan Thanh No, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations and Comrade Nong Quoc Binh, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Association of Ethnic Minorities.

The conference approved the Regulations on functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations.

Within the framework of the Conference, the Decision to establish advisory agencies to assist the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations was also announced.

On this occasion, the first meeting of the Party Committee Standing Committee also took place, discussing a number of important tasks under the authority of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations in accordance with the direction of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations.
