According to statistics, Phu Tho province currently has over 290 enterprises participating in import and export activities. Exports continue to make a major contribution to the province's socio-economic development with an estimated export value of 15.4 billion USD in 2024.

Lunar New Year is the longest holiday of the year in Vietnam while major markets such as the EU, the US, Japan, etc. do not celebrate Lunar New Year, so businesses must quickly return to production and accelerate right from the first days of Spring. Returning to work right after Tet not only helps businesses maintain growth momentum but also demonstrates professionalism and commitment to progress and quality to international partners. Before Tet, many businesses signed export contracts with specific delivery times, orders placed by customers in advance must be delivered on schedule.

Blending in with the bustling colors of Spring, the atmosphere of work, production and business at enterprises in the province is bustling and full of enthusiasm. Since the end of 2024, export orders have improved and there are many promising directions. Many enterprises have had export orders until the middle of 2025 and are continuing to negotiate orders until the end of the year.

This year, the textile and garment industry has shown more positive signs, with many emerging export markets such as the Middle East and Africa being approached by businesses to expand their markets. In addition, inventories in key markets have tended to decrease compared to the same period last year, coupled with an increasing purchasing power that has helped restore demand for orders from partners.

Teijin Frontier Shonai Co., Ltd., Van Phu Ward, Viet Tri City is a 100% Japanese-owned enterprise specializing in processing suits for export. In 2024, the Company's production output will reach nearly 278,500 sets of clothes, with revenue of about 172 billion VND, creating stable jobs for more than 900 workers. Mr. Hamada Ryuji - General Director of the Company said: "The Company started the Spring Festival on the 6th day of the Lunar New Year and immediately implemented the production plan to meet the delivery requirements of partners. For sustainable development, we always focus on improving work efficiency and taking good care of employees, aiming for sustainable development. The Company also focuses on optimizing the production process to increase productivity, improve product quality and meet the strict requirements of the export market".

In the electronics industry, on-time delivery is a key factor to ensure the continuity of the supply chain. Therefore, to prepare for production right from the beginning of the New Year, businesses often have to plan early, prepare raw materials, and work with shipping and manufacturing partners.

BYD Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd., Phu Ha Industrial Park, Phu Tho Town specializes in manufacturing and assembling electronic circuit boards for computers, tablets and other electronic components. The company has over 11,000 employees, with an import-export turnover of about 4.5 billion USD in 2024. Mr. Leo Su - Director of the Company said: “From the first days of returning to work after Tet, job positions were quickly stabilized. The initiative in production planning helps us complete orders on time and maintain the supply chain. In 2025, when the production lines of some new product lines are put into operation, we plan to recruit about 5,000 more workers.”

Accelerating production after Tet is an important factor for export enterprises to maintain their growth momentum and expand international cooperation opportunities. Proactive production helps enterprises be ready to take advantage of new opportunities, creating advantages in the context of global competition.
