In the face of the increasing number of dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease and measles cases in Ho Chi Minh City as of week 42, HCDC recommends that people continue to take preventive measures as required by the health sector.

At the same time, parents should take their children to medical facilities to get two doses of measles vaccine to create immunity to prevent the disease for children.

Avoid missing children who have not been vaccinated against measles

The progress of measles vaccination for children aged 1-10 years old has been 100% completed. However, there are still 2 districts that have not reached the 95% rate. The Department of Health has requested to speed up the progress to avoid omissions.

The Department of Health recommends that the People's Committees of these districts need to speed up progress to achieve the campaign's goals in the district.

At the same time, districts that have achieved a rate of 95% or more need to maintain updates on the situation of mobile children to avoid missing unvaccinated children.
