On the morning of March 21, in Da Nang, the Thuan Phuoc - Da Nang New Urban Area project with a scale of more than 976,000 m2, with a total estimated investment capital of more than 11,400 billion VND, was started.

It is known that this is one of the projects that has been slow to be implemented in Da Nang City in recent times, due to many reasons. This project is also one of the projects that must collect financial obligations according to the previous conclusion of the Inspectorate.

Thuan Phuoc - Da Nang urban area project is located in a prime location with 3 sides facing the sea.

In 2010, the project was named Urban, Commercial and Tourism Area North of Man Quang Bay and was approved by Da Nang City for the detailed master plan of the construction site.

In 2017, the People's Committee of Da Nang City approved the general plan to adjust the detailed construction planning, accordingly changing the project name to Thuan Phuoc - Da Nang New Urban Area.

On December 29, 2023, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued a decision approving the first adjustment of the investment policy and at the same time approving the investor. In particular, the project aims to invest in building an urban area for sale or lease/lease-purchase, transfer/lease land use rights in accordance with regulations...

Recently, after the investor fulfilled its financial obligations and related legal procedures, the People's Committee of Da Nang City adjusted the land allocation and land lease to Thuan Phuoc Bay Urban Investment Joint Stock Company to invest in the construction of the Thuan Phuoc - Da Nang New Urban Area project.

The project has a prime location, with 3 sides facing the sea in Nai Hien Dong ward and Tho Quang ward (Son Tra district), directly connecting to the main arteries of the central area of ​​Da Nang city.

According to the design, this urban area is oriented to develop into a modern, smart urban area, fully integrating high-class utilities, meeting the needs of housing, commerce, services, entertainment, culture and tourism.

The project's prominent functional areas include low-rise and high-rise residential areas, villas, shophouses, luxury apartments, and modern commercial townhouses. This project will have a complex of commercial centers, 5-6 star hotels including luxury international brand hotels, high-end conference centers, serving accommodation and international trade activities. In addition, there are shopping, culinary, entertainment areas, walking streets, commercial service areas... along with synchronous public facilities such as schools, hospitals, sports centers, community activity areas...

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Le Quang Nam - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City - said: According to the development orientation, Thuan Phuoc urban area is one of the key areas in the North of Son Tra Peninsula, where the potential converges to become a new center of Da Nang. This project is expected to contribute to improving the appearance of Da Nang urban area, contributing to adding attractive tourist, entertainment and commercial destinations, bringing Da Nang to the world map as well as the region.
