Nguyen Hoang Bridge is part of a key traffic project connecting Kim Long Ward (Phu Xuan District) with Phuong Duc Ward (Thuan Hoa District), contributing to improving the urban infrastructure of Hue City. The project is invested by the Hue City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board. After 2 years of construction, the bridge is basically completed and is expected to be technically opened to traffic on March 26, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Hue Liberation.

What makes this bridge stand out and different is the yellow parasols.

The image of the lanterns evokes the ancient royal culture, creating a unique highlight for the trillion-dollar bridge.

In recent days, images of the golden parasols of the trillion-dollar bridge across the Huong River, which is about to be completed, have begun to appear on social networks and digital space, making many people curious about the size, material, and meaning of this design.

It is known that 64 lanterns are arranged at both ends of the bridge, with different heights, from 4.6m to over 14m, forming two unique arches.

According to the design concept, the lanterns are not only aesthetic but also show the connection between history and modern life. The main yellow color of the bridge and its arch symbolizes the splendor of the ancient royal palace, while also expressing warmth and prosperity. On the other hand, in Vietnamese culture, yellow is also a symbol of nobility.

Structurally, the lanterns are made of galvanized steel, powder coated, ensuring durability against weather. They are like a work of art with a parabolic structure, combined with an artistic lighting system, creating a brilliant landscape at night.

When viewed from a distance, the two golden arches become special on the bridge.

Not only does it have symbolic value, Nguyen Hoang Bridge also plays an important role in completing the transportation system of Hue City. With a total investment of more than 2,280 billion VND, the bridge will help reduce traffic pressure, promote urban development in the west of Hue City, and become a new tourist attraction for visitors to the ancient capital.

With a harmonious combination of modern architecture and traditional royal beauty, Nguyen Hoang Bridge is considered not only a key traffic project but also carries the unique cultural features of the ancient capital, contributing to honoring the value of Hue heritage.

When completed, this place is expected to become an unmissable tourist attraction, especially when night falls, the golden parasols glow brightly, blending with the sparkling decorative lights in the middle of the illusory Huong River, recreating the noble beauty of a golden age.
