On August 30, Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) signed a contract for the package "Consulting on management and operation of Long Thanh International Airport".

In June, ACV conducted an international bidding to select a contractor.

On August 22, ACV announced that the winning bidder was the Incheon Airport consortium consisting of two members: Incheon International Airport Corporation (Korea) and PMI Consulting Services Joint Stock Company (Vietnam).

To ensure the effective management and operation of Long Thanh airport, ACV will work closely with an internationally experienced consulting unit. This unit will provide comprehensive solutions to help Long Thanh airport come into operation soon.
