At the working session with the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee on the results of the implementation of tasks in the first quarter of 2023 and the construction progress of Ring Road 4 - Capital Region on the morning of April 6, Mr. Tran Duc Hai - Secretary of the Dan Phuong District Party Committee said that in the first half of this term, the district's economy had a good growth rate, with an average annual growth rate of 10.12%.
Accordingly, the economic structure has shifted towards urbanization, increasing the proportion of trade - services, industry - construction, and reducing the proportion of agriculture. Up to now, 23/28 socio-economic targets set by the Resolution of the 24th District Party Congress have been achieved on schedule.
Regarding the site clearance and resettlement of the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region investment project, up to now, Dan Phuong district has issued 802 decisions to reclaim agricultural land of 802 households with an area of 25.35/39.84ha (reaching a rate of 63.62%). The total number of graves that must be moved to implement the project is 1,678, up to now 468/1,678 graves have been moved (reaching a rate of 28.96%).

From there, Dan Phuong district made more than 10 recommendations to the City related to planning, environment, and creating investment sources to develop the district into a district. Notably, the district recommended that the city update the planning of the Inland Waterway Port combined with the Trung Chau Commune Tourist Port with an area of 50 hectares; Supplement the entire area of land in the western part of Hong Ha Bridge to develop trade, services, ecological urban areas, high-tech agriculture, etc.
At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee requested the leaders of Dan Phuong district to clearly analyze the district's development potentials and advantages, the remaining limitations and shortcomings, and the "bottlenecks" that need to be cleared.
First, it is necessary to review and evaluate the staff to prepare a step for the development process from commune to ward, district to district, with the requirement of developing ecological urban areas with their own identity. The district also needs to closely follow the city's departments and branches, and advise on a plan to thoroughly handle slow-to-implement land-use projects. Along with that, focus on clearing the ground for the Ring Road 4 project - the Capital region to ensure the assigned progress.
