Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Trung My Tay Ward - said that the above road section is about 2km long, the number of nails that were sucked at noon on June 28 was about 20 diamond-shaped nails. "The number that was sucked today (June 29) was about 4-5 nails, which is much less" - Mr. Thanh said.
According to Mr. Thanh, recently, nails appeared on National Highway 1 from Quang Trung overpass to An Suong overpass, the ward Youth Union coordinated with the ward police to remove nails to ensure people's safety on the road.

"Currently, we will deploy nail suction once a day and will suddenly suction when people report to the ward police that there is a recurring nail situation," said Mr. Thanh.
