Launching of Customs Branch Region XII

DNO - On the morning of March 16, the Customs Department (Ministry of Finance) held a conference to announce the organizational structure and personnel work at the Customs Branch of Region XII. Attending the conference were Deputy Director of the Customs Department Tran Duc Hung and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong said that along with the development of Da Nang, the City Customs Department has previously made positive contributions to facilitating import-export business activities, entry and exit passengers; state budget collection and implementing the development of customs-business partnerships and related parties.

In the coming time, to implement specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city, the role of the Customs Branch of Region XII will continue to be enhanced, especially participating in the city's projects and programs such as building and implementing the project to establish Da Nang Free Trade Zone, Lien Chieu port, airport cargo terminal, warehouses, logistics centers, industrial clusters, marina projects, high-tech agricultural zone projects, etc.

City leaders believe that the new organization of the Customs Branch of Region XII will help connect and develop trade, service and logistics activities; thereby, creating the premise and potential for localities to develop together.

According to the decisions of the Customs Department on the appointment of personnel of the Customs Branch of Region XII, from March 15, 2025, Mr. Duong Xuan Sinh, Director of the Customs Department of Quang Nam province, holds the position of Director of the Customs Branch of Region XII.

The Deputy Directors of the Branch include: Mr. Tran Van Anh (Deputy Director of Da Nang Customs Department); Mr. Pham Duy Nhat (Deputy Director of Da Nang Customs Department); Ms. Dang Thi Le Hoa (Deputy Director of Da Nang Customs Department); Mr. Nguyen Van Duong (Deputy Director of Quang Nam Customs Department); Mr. Tran Ngoc Duc (Deputy Director of Quang Nam Customs Department) and Mr. Huynh Van Cuong (Deputy Director of Quang Ngai Customs Department).

The Customs Branch of Region XII manages the area of ​​3 provinces and cities: Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai; its headquarters is located in Da Nang. The Branch consists of 7 affiliated departments and 8 customs units at/outside border gates.
