Pursuant to Decree No. 08/2016/ND-CP of the Government on the number of Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and the process and procedures for election, resignation, dismissal, removal, transfer and dismissal of members of the People's Committee; Decision 1350/QD-TTg 2016 adjusting the classification of administrative units of Quang Ninh province from type 2 to type 1, Quang Ninh province is assigned 4 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee.
Up to now, the number of Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee includes 3. To ensure the operation of the Provincial People's Committee according to the Law, at the conferences, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has submitted a Report on introducing personnel for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Ninh province - requested key provincial officials, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to uphold the sense of responsibility, carefully study the standards and conditions, be impartial and objective in selecting and introducing candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, who are truly exemplary in political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, capacity, qualifications, prestige and have practical experience, a relatively comprehensive working process in the locality and in the province. Through difficulties and challenges, one must have a steadfast and determined spirit, meeting the requirements and tasks of leadership, direction, management and operation of the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
At the conference, delegates voted to introduce the candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with a high spirit of unity.
