At the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Phung (Phung Ky), the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude for her contributions in the struggle for independence.

From 1954 to 1975, Ms. Phung was an important revolutionary base of the Quang Da Special Zone Committee, the District 1 Military Propaganda Committee, Thanh Binh District and the Da Nang Special Forces. During her activities, she was imprisoned by the enemy many times and endured hardships for her revolutionary ideals. Currently, she is a 4/4 disabled veteran.

Visiting the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nguyet Anh, the Standing Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee expressed his gratitude for her steadfast spirit during the resistance war. From 1955 to 1975, she operated legally in Da Nang city and was arrested and imprisoned many times by the enemy.

In particular, during the campaign to liberate Da Nang in 1975, she actively participated in logistics, sewing flags, preparing medicine and vehicles to welcome the leaders of Zone 5 Party Committee, Quang Da Special Zone Committee, and Front 4 to liberate the city.

Next, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh visited Ms. Pham Thi Thien Huong (Dharma name: Nun Dieu Thien). Before 1975, she was the abbot of Non Nuoc Pagoda - an important revolutionary base of the Quang Da Special Zone.

During the spring campaigns of 1968, the Paris Agreement of 1973 and the campaign to liberate Da Nang in 1975, Non Nuoc Pagoda was the location of the forward command post of the Quang Da Special Zone Party Committee. After 1975, she continued to contribute to society, working at the Hotel Service Company until 1988. For her great contributions, she was awarded the Third Class Resistance Medal.
