Comrades Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee attended the conference at the provincial bridge.
In many documents disseminated at the conference, notably, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu conveyed the content of the requirements of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in Directive No. 57, dated February 21, 2025 and the Program for implementing Resolution No. 57, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation in the province by 2030, with a vision to 2025.
The Action Program of the Provincial Party Standing Committee sets out 28 specific targets, including that by 2030, digital competitiveness, e-government development index, and digital government will be ranked in the top 20 provinces and cities nationwide.
The contribution rate of total factor productivity (TFP) to economic growth is at least 55%; the proportion of high-tech product exports to the total value of exported goods is at least 50%; the scale of the digital economy reaches 30 GRDP%. The innovation index (PII), creative startup index, and digital transformation (DTI) rank among the top 30 provinces and cities in the country.
The rate of online public service usage by people and businesses reached over 80%; the rate of cashless transactions reached over 80%; the rate of businesses with innovative activities reached over 40%.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu said that the action program also determined that the budget for research and development (R&D) reached 2% of GRDP; of which, social budget accounted for more than 60%; allocating at least 3% of the total annual budget expenditure for science, technology development, innovation, national digital transformation and gradually increasing according to development requirements...
By 2045, the goal of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation will be achieved, contributing to making Quang Nam a developed, high-income province.
