Cross-sell products to each other
Ms. Bui Thi Tuyet Nhung - Vice President of Tam Ky City Women's Startup Club said that recently, the unit has signed a long-term cooperation memorandum with Dai Loc District Women's Startup Club. Accordingly, a very important content in this memorandum is to support each other in consuming products. In addition to being a distributor when customers have a need, the two units will organize livestreams to cross-sell products to each other on social networking platforms.
"On the 15th of every month, the Dai Loc District Women's Club will livestream to sell products of Tam Ky women and on the 30th of every month, the Tam Ky City Women's Club will livestream to sell products of Dai Loc women. And on the occasion of the 5th Creative Startup Week - TechFest Quang Nam 2024 this time, the two units will conduct the first livestream session, opening this regular activity" - Ms. Nhung said.

Currently, Tam Ky Women Entrepreneurship Club has about 50 members with more than 120 products, of which nearly 50 products are OCOP certified. Dai Loc District Women Entrepreneurship Club has 18 members with more than 70 products, of which 25 products are OCOP certified. Both units have many products with 4-star OCOP certification.

In preparation for the livestream session on the afternoon of June 7, the two units have been posting information, promoting and advertising their members' products for many days. According to the reporter, in this first livestream session on the Fanpage "Tam Ky City Women's Union" and shared on the Fanpage of Dai Loc Women's Union, it attracted more than 1,000 viewers, with nearly 30 shares and more than 500 interactions.

Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Tam - Director of Ngoc Lan Fish Sauce Cooperative shared: "We just turned on livestream, introduced the first products and there were buyers. I myself was watched by customers who bought dozens of bottles of fish sauce. Other products of the sisters also sold very well. In the first session, achieving such results was something that surprised the sisters."
Share customers with each other
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van - Owner of Hong Van Business (Dai Hiep, Dai Loc) said that the products of Tam Ky and Dai Loc women entrepreneurs have many similarities in terms of customer base. Specifically, although the product categories are not the same, the customers of one member can also be the customers of another member. Therefore, when combining cross-selling products to each other, members of the two women entrepreneurs clubs will have an exponentially larger customer base.

"For example, in the field of medicinal herbs, many women share the same customer base without knowing it. Ms. Tuyet Nhung has a group of customers with bone and joint pain, blood pressure, old age diseases, etc., and in Dai Loc, there are also people who specialize in selling products for this customer group. If we share product information with each other's customers, bringing them a lot of value, not only will we be able to sell products, but customers will also love it," said Ms. Van.
[VIDEO] - Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van shares about the meaning of the program:
According to Ms. Vo Thi Tinh - Owner of the Dang Sam Do Nui Jam Project (Tam Ky City), in difficult economic times, the market for start-up products is even more stagnant due to fierce competition from large companies and corporations. These units have large investment scales, optimize processes and produce products that are strong enough to dominate the market. At times like these, supporting product trade in many forms, including livestreaming to sell to each other, is necessary.

"In addition to the support from the 5th Startup Week event - TechFest Quang Nam 2024 with product display and introduction activities, women from Tam Ky and Dai Loc livestream to sell products to each other is a program with extremely strong motivational meaning. The women's startup products not only spread in the 2 localities but are also known and used by many customers across the country" - Ms. Tinh shared.
At the end of the first 2-hour livestream session, more than 40 orders were sold, bringing in an estimated revenue of more than 10 million VND. This is an initial success, creating motivation for the 2 Women's Entrepreneurship Clubs of Tam Ky City and Dai Loc District to organize monthly programs in the future.
