According to the resolution of the District People's Council, the District Department of Home Affairs was established on the basis of merging the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the District Department of Home Affairs.
Phu Ninh established the district's Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the district's Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the district's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; at the same time, receiving the functions and tasks of poverty reduction from the district's Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Establish the District Department of Culture, Science and Information on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the District Department of Culture and Information and the functions and tasks on science and technology from the District Department of Economy and Infrastructure.
Establish the District Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the District Economic and Infrastructure Department; at the same time, transfer the functions and tasks of science and technology to the District Culture, Science and Information Department.
Along with that, Phu Ninh reorganized specialized agencies on the basis of receiving and transferring functions and tasks, including: The Office of the District People's Council & People's Committee received the functions and tasks of advising on state management in the fields of social protection, children and social evil prevention from the District Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; at the same time, transferred tasks related to ethnic affairs to the District Department of Home Affairs.
For the District Department of Education and Training, receive the functions and tasks of advising on state management of vocational education from the District Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
At the conference, the Chairman of Phu Ninh District People's Committee also announced the Decision on personnel work to perfect key personnel for the above-mentioned professional agencies after rearranging and reorganizing according to the resolution of the District People's Council.
After the establishment, arrangement, consolidation, and restructuring of the specialized agencies under the District People's Committee, there will be 9 agencies (2 departments reduced). The specialized agencies under the District People's Committee established and reorganized will have legal status, their own seals and accounts to operate in accordance with the provisions of law; officially put into operation from March 1, 2025.
Previously, on February 14, 2025, Phu Ninh District Party Committee also established the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee on the basis of merging the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee.
