In Bac Ninh City, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang visited Ham Long Pagoda and Most Venerable Thich Thanh Dung, Deputy Supreme Patriarch and Chief Secretary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Patriarchal Council.

Ham Long Pagoda is located in Thai Bao area, Nam Son ward, Bac Ninh city, built during the Ly dynasty (around the 12th century). This is a large Buddhist center, said to be the place where monk Duong Khong Lo practiced.
Ham Long Pagoda has a beautiful landscape location, in harmony with nature, known as an ancient temple with a long history, the architectural works are designed and decorated in the traditional style, with sophisticated and artistic carvings.

In Tien Du district, the Deputy Prime Minister visited Phat Tich Pagoda and Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien, Vice President and General Secretary of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.
Located on Lan Kha Mountain, Phat Tich Commune, Tien Du District, Phat Tich Pagoda is known as an ancient temple nearly a thousand years old, bearing the architectural imprint of the Ly Dynasty. Not only unique in architecture, Phat Tich Pagoda is also a place to preserve extremely unique ancient culture.
Phat Tich Pagoda has been recognized as a special national monument of Vietnam and is one of 14 tourist attractions in the province.

Speaking at the destinations, on behalf of the leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang sent to Most Venerable Thich Thanh Dung and Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien, along with all monks, nuns, and Buddhists of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, wishes for good health, diligence, peace, and a peaceful, joyful, and happy Buddha's birthday.
The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to the community, society and country in recent times, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha towards the country.
2023 is the first year that monks, nuns, and Buddhists of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha will implement the goals of the 9th National Congress of Buddhist Delegates (2022-2027). The Deputy Prime Minister believes and hopes that, in their positions as leaders of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Most Venerable Thich Thanh Dung and Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien, together with the Venerables of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, will have a term with many successes, activities, and developments according to the orientation of "Discipline - Responsibility - Solidarity - Development" set forth by the Congress.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien, Vice President and General Secretary of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, performed the Buddha statue bathing ceremony at Phat Tich Pagoda.
At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister also hopes that Most Venerable Thich Thanh Dung and Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien will guide Vietnamese Buddhist monks, nuns, and followers to continue implementing the motto of "Dharma-Nation-Socialism".
Along with that, strictly comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws; actively participate in social security activities, help the disadvantaged... for a prosperous and happy life of the people.
