Ngoc Khanh walking street is deserted and quiet, business owners in this area complain that business is sluggish.
Ngoc Khanh Walking Street is the newest walking street in Hanoi, inaugurated on October 11. The project has an investment of 30 billion VND, with the establishment of a walking street combined with business services.
This walking street is located in Pham Huy Thong street, along Ngoc Khanh lake, starting at 6pm on Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday. During the time the walking street is open, vehicles will not be allowed to enter this area.
Newly opened, the walking street is very deserted, with only local residents walking and exercising around the area.
People said they have not seen any interesting and attractive activities on the walking street.
The pedestrian street lacks attractive activities and is deserted, so on weekends, shops and businesses in this area have almost no customers. Many business owners said that before, business was quite good, but since the pedestrian street was established, there have been no customers, even on weekdays - when the pedestrian street is not operating.
Business owners in Ngoc Khanh walking street area reflect sluggish business after the walking street came into operation.
