At the Tet gift-giving ceremony for 150 policy families, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in Chau Thanh A district (Hau Giang province), Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man sent New Year wishes to the Party Committee, government, and people of Hau Giang province; acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in economic development and ensuring social security of the province in the past year. In particular, the completion of the construction of 1,400 houses for poor households and policy families facing housing difficulties.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels continue to effectively implement mechanisms and policies to care for the poor, people in difficult circumstances, and families with meritorious services; pay attention to education and training, improving educational levels; take care of people's health; effectively carry out the movements of the entire people protecting national security, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; and build a clean and strong political system. Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man hopes that sponsors will continue to work with local authorities to support people in difficult circumstances to reorganize production and business.

On this occasion, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man presented a symbolic board of 500 Tet gifts to policy families, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in Hau Giang province, sponsored by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Also on January 23, the delegation visited, wished a happy new year, and presented gifts to workers in difficult circumstances at Lac Ty II Company (Tan Phu Thanh Industrial Park, Chau Thanh A District); visited and presented gifts to Mr. Phan Huu Hiep, a severely disabled veteran with a disability of over 81% in Xeo Cao Hamlet, Thanh Xuan Commune, Chau Thanh A District.
