According to the National Assembly Chairman, at the session, the National Assembly considered and passed 4 laws and 5 resolutions to reorganize the National Assembly and Government apparatus.
At the same time, the National Assembly passed six resolutions to promote the country's socio-economic development and specific mechanisms and policies for a number of key national projects and works.
"This is an important milestone in the law-making process, of great significance in serving the revolution of streamlining the organization and apparatus of the political system and promptly removing difficulties and obstacles in terms of institutions and policies, creating breakthroughs to perfect infrastructure, promote resources, and create new development space for localities and the whole country," the National Assembly Chairman emphasized.
The National Assembly Chairman also said that the personnel work at the session was carried out strictly, in accordance with Party regulations and State laws, achieving high consensus and unanimity among National Assembly deputies.
Accordingly, at the session, the National Assembly elected two additional Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly; approved the appointment of two Deputy Prime Ministers. The National Assembly also elected members of the National Assembly Standing Committee and six chairmen of National Assembly committees; approved the appointment of four ministers; and dismissed a number of ministers and members of the National Assembly Standing Committee to take on other duties.
The National Assembly Chairman said that many delegates have noted that the draft laws submitted to the National Assembly this session have many new issues, are correct and accurate, concise, easy to understand, and in line with the spirit of innovation in thinking about law making.
The delegates also affirmed that the timely, objective, and correct decisions demonstrated the Party and State's vision and convincing foundation; they caught the right pulse, without hesitation or delay, to promptly overcome the shortcomings, obstacles, and bottlenecks that slowed down the country's development. At this important historical moment of the nation, there must be historic, breakthrough decisions for the country's development.

Determined, resolute, say what you do
However, the National Assembly Chairman also pointed out that there are many specific issues of very different practices that need to be further studied and implemented in accordance with the Constitution, in accordance with practice, to ensure consistency, feasibility and effectiveness.
"The concerns and worries of the National Assembly deputies are well-founded and need to be paid close attention to in the process of directing, guiding, organizing implementation and monitoring after the laws and resolutions come into effect," said the National Assembly Chairman.
The National Assembly Chairman also requested agencies, units and localities to urgently organize implementation with a spirit of proactiveness, creativity, determination, and drasticness, and to match words with actions.
The National Assembly Chairman requested the Government to make the greatest effort to develop plans and documents detailing the contents assigned in the laws and resolutions of the National Assembly.
The National Assembly Chairman also requested that agencies urgently review to amend and supplement specific content in legal documents related to the arrangement of the apparatus that need to be handled immediately, are of a special nature, and cannot be handled according to general principles for promulgation under authority.
"The National Assembly believes that, under the leadership of the Party; the participation of the entire political system, all levels and sectors; the solidarity and efforts of the entire Party, the entire people, the entire army, the business community, and our compatriots abroad, our country will certainly overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully implement the set goals and tasks, and meet the trust and hope of voters, people nationwide, and our compatriots abroad," the National Assembly Chairman affirmed.
