Speaking at the event, Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan said: Naval Region 4 is assigned to manage a large, key sea and island area of the Fatherland. Naval Region 4 officers and soldiers have maintained their will and faith, always held the steering wheel firmly, and held their guns firmly day and night to guard the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. The Vice President praised the collective of officers, soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district for always sticking to and building the sea and islands of the Fatherland, successfully completing the task of managing and firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
According to Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan: The sea and islands have a strategic position and role for nations. Navy officers and soldiers in general, Navy Region 4, as well as the army and people of Truong Sa island district in particular, need to clearly identify three groups of tasks: Protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland; Maintaining security and safety at sea; Developing a sustainable marine economy.
Continue to pay attention to doing a good job of strategic forecasting, promptly advising the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense on policies and solutions to flexibly and properly handle complex situations at sea, not to be passive and surprised in any situation, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, State, and People.

Focusing on building a Region that is politically strong and highly combat-ready; maintaining sovereignty over seas and islands within the assigned scope, notably deploying forces to propagate and chase away survey and exploration ships operating illegally in our Exclusive Economic Zone, grasping the situation, promptly advising and proposing to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee - Command of the Service, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense to handle situations in the right way.

The Regional Command has always been active and proactive in rescue work, always identifying the task of rescuing and helping people as a combat mission in peacetime, an order from the heart, "saving people like saving your own relatives", ready to mobilize, be present in time to rescue and help fishermen in distress, affirming that islands, island points, and ships operating at sea are truly a fulcrum, a solid belief for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea.

In the coming time, officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4 will continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the leadership resolutions of the Party at all levels; focus on building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern, comprehensively strong "exemplary, typical" Region associated with a clean and strong Party organization; firmly protect the assigned sea and island sovereignty and absolutely protect the safety of the Projects, security and safety of Cam Ranh base.
