At noon on March 10, the Truong Sa Island infirmary (Brigade 146, Naval Region 4) received and provided emergency care to fishermen injured while fishing in the Truong Sa waters.
Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on March 10, fisherman Huynh Con, a crew member of fishing boat NT 90963TS (born in 1982, from Thanh Hai - Ninh Hai - Ninh Thuan), was fishing about 7 nautical miles from the island when he was stabbed in the right leg by a Mao Tien fish.
Patient Huynh Con was taken to Truong Sa island with a painful, swollen, red right foot and difficulty walking.

Through examination, doctors diagnosed the patient with a poisonous sea animal sting in the foot and conducted blood, biological, pain relief, anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling and anti-allergy tests.
Currently, doctors and nurses at the infirmary continue to closely monitor the patient's health.

On the same day, officers and soldiers of Truong Sa island promptly guided and supported more than 100 fishing boats and more than 800 fishermen from the central provinces to take shelter from rough seas, ensuring safety. Truong Sa island commanders coordinated with the Border Guard to visit, present more than 200 national flags, distribute more than 300 leaflets and many other necessities, encouraging fishermen to confidently go out to sea.
