Striving to have more than 9,200 registered businesses by 2026

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision approving the Program to support small and medium enterprises in Binh Thuan for the period 2024 - 2026, which has now come into effect.

The decision was issued to synchronously and effectively implement policies to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) according to the provisions of the Law on Support for SMEs and Government Decrees to accelerate the development speed as well as enhance the competitiveness of SMEs in Binh Thuan. At the same time, reform administrative procedures, gradually improve the investment and business environment to be favorable, equal, transparent and sustainable so that SMEs can contribute more and more to the socio-economic development. Thereby creating momentum for economic growth, increasing budget revenue and demonstrating social responsibility, contributing to enhancing the competitiveness and international economic integration of the locality.

In addition, the program also sets out a number of specific goals: Improving the quality and efficiency of SMEs, striving for an annual growth rate of new businesses of 10% or more, and by 2026, the province will have more than 9,200 registered businesses. Up to now, 50 business households have converted to enterprises and provided consulting support for 9 SMEs, organized 57 direct training courses on business start-up and business administration for 1,750 SME students, and provided technology support for 82 SMEs... For local SMEs, each year they create new jobs for over 6,000 workers, striving to create new jobs for more than 30,000 workers by 2026.
