Powered by a dual-motor architecture combined with Wear OS by Google, the Watch X is currently leading in battery life with up to 100 hours of use in full-featured mode, and up to 12 days in battery-saving mode. This product, with two versions of brown and black, is expected to be officially launched in the Vietnamese market at the end of March 2024.
Elegant and high-end design
OPPO Watch X integrates comprehensive functions and powerful performance in an exquisite design. The large 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 326 PPI and a refresh rate of up to 60Hz ensures an immersive viewing experience at all times. The display is protected by a 2.5D sapphire glass layer to enhance scratch resistance without compromising optical clarity.
Designed to last through a long journey, OPPO Watch X has passed the MIL-STD-810H standard, ensuring high durability even in harsh conditions and environmental pressures, along with IP68 dust resistance and 5ATM water resistance.
Smart personal trainer right in your hand
This device features dual-frequency GPS that can receive both the regular GPS L1 signal and the more advanced GPS L5 signal. Using two separate antennas for each GPS signal improves the accuracy and reliability of location determination for users when running, cycling, climbing or exercising in environments with poor GPS signal.
Thanks to dual-frequency GPS, combined with a high-precision accelerometer, gyroscope sensor, and magnet sensor, the Watch X ensures more stable data tracking for accurate measurements when tracking workout routes. OPPO and Wear OS worked closely to calibrate these sensors.
The OPPO Watch X also offers automatic exercise detection, which can recognize when the user is walking, running, cycling, swimming, or rowing. For users who are passionate about running, the Watch X also adds posture and running pace recognition.
Another dedicated sports feature on the OPPO Watch X is the professional badminton mode developed by OPPO. This new feature will collect data during play and provide post-match analysis based on five aspects of speed, range, endurance, confrontation ability and attack ability to help users adjust the power and speed of the racket swing.
Accurate tracking for smarter health management
By tracking sleep metrics such as breathing rate, blood oxygen level, heart rate, snoring, body movements and other behaviors, OPPO Watch X supports comprehensive sleep monitoring, even for short naps. Based on the weekly in-depth sleep monitoring reports synced to OPPO's OHealth app, users can track changes in their sleep duration, sleep frequency, snoring risk and overall sleep score. The detailed sleep monitoring data helps users better understand their nightly sleep quality and develop good sleep habits.
OPPO Watch X and the OHealth app now also support Health Connect on Android 14, providing a central hub to manage data access from various health and fitness apps and devices. Users can securely sync their personal health data on the Watch X or the OHealth app with authorized apps through Health Connect.
Versatile and synchronized application for smart experience
Powered by Wear OS, OPPO Watch X is compatible with Google apps, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Wallet, and Google Play. Experience new conveniences with directions and public transport tracking on Google Maps easily right on your smartwatch.
Additionally, users can manage flight tickets, event tickets, and more directly on the watch with Google Wallet on Wear OS. With Google Play available on the device, users can access a range of Google and third-party apps, such as Gmail and WhatsApp.
With the support of Fast Pair, users can quickly connect and set up OPPO Watch X with OPPO phones or other Android smartphones. This feature allows users to answer incoming calls, control music playback, reply to WhatsApp messages, and many other features supported on the smartwatch.
Leading battery life
OPPO Watch X has a large 500mAh battery and Watch VOOC™ fast charging technology, allowing for multi-day use and quick charging. The device can be fully charged in just 60 minutes, and used for 24 hours after just 10 minutes of charging.
The breakthrough that helps improve battery life on the Watch X comes from OPPO's exclusive dual-engine architecture with two separate chipsets - the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SOC and the BES2700 MCU. Under this architecture, the two watch chips are tuned to work in parallel on a unified Wear OS interface.
This allows the BES2700 chip to handle as many common tasks as possible, such as answering calls and displaying notifications, while the powerful Snapdragon® W5 Gen 1 chip is used to handle high-performance operations and apps from Wear OS.
On the Watch X, users experience the optimal balance between performance and battery consumption. Powered by a dual-motor structure, the Watch X can provide up to 100 hours of battery life in full-featured smart mode and up to 12 days in power saving mode, so users no longer have to charge the device every day.
“We are excited to partner with Wear OS to bring a smooth and power-saving user experience to OPPO Watch X, making it a trusted companion for users, together creating a more active and healthy lifestyle,” said Justin Liu, Director of OPPO Wearables Business Unit.
