On September 14 (August 13 of the lunar calendar), the Vietnam Theater industry continued to organize the death anniversary of the traditional theater profession with the participation of many artists, actors and art fans across the country.
The ceremony at Trinh Kim Chi Center for Arts and Theater Development took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere, marking the gratitude of the current generation of artists for the contributions of their predecessors.

As Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, Trinh Kim Chi not only contributed to the successful organization of the event but also demonstrated her leadership role in preserving and promoting traditional artistic values.

Sharing about her responsibility, Trinh Kim Chi emotionally said: “For me, the death anniversary of the theater founder is an indispensable occasion in my artistic life. This is the time for us – the artists – to look back and show gratitude for the great contributions of our ancestors. I always want to bring a solemn and cozy atmosphere to the ceremony, not only for the actors on stage but also for all my colleagues. That is the way for us to keep the passion for the profession alive together."
The special feature of this year’s ceremony is the connection between artists and the community through humanitarian actions. All donations from the Hung Kings’ death anniversary ceremony were used to support the people of the North who are suffering from the consequences of flooding.
Throughout the ceremony, Trinh Kim Chi could not hide her emotions when witnessing the affection of her colleagues and the audience. She shared that the contributions, whether big or small, contained sincerity, from the hearts of art lovers towards the North in difficult times.
